Ah, good old highway 10. As a youngster in the 1940s and 50s, that was our
main route between Kansas City, and Carrollton. Richmond, Hardin, Norborne.
Pretty much a straight highway except for some reason, it jumps around a
tree and some water for about a half mile.

J.R. CAMPBELL, a coal miner at Lakeview, died, presumably from
exposure, one and one-forth miles west of Norborne, Saturday night,
