Subject: [Campbell] James Campbell 1740-1819 Westmoreland, pa
Recently learned from DAR records that I may be related to a James Campbell from
Westmoreland, pa who was obviously in the revolution. Anyone familiar with him or his
family? Would like to learn more about his descendents to see if there is a connection.
Another legend in the family says that 3 Campbell brothers came from uk on a ship with
Benjamin Franklin (around 1726). One brother went to Virginia, one went to Penn and
another to somewhere else. Ring any bells? (I hope.)
THANKS!
