York, none in Westmoreland, PA, so unfortunately I can't help you there. Good luck!
Ben Franklin returned from a trip to London in July 1726, on the ship the Berkshire out of
London. Below is a link to the journal he kept while on board. Perhaps it mentions your
Campbells.

Recently learned from DAR records that I may be related to a James Campbell from
Westmoreland, pa who was obviously in the revolution. Anyone familiar with him
or his family? Would like to learn more about his descendents to see if there
is a connection.
Another legend in the family says that 3 Campbell brothers came from uk on a
ship with Benjamin Franklin (around 1726). One brother went to Virginia, one
went to Penn and another to somewhere else. Ring any bells? (I hope.)
