Glad to hear that there are others out there. I'm the gggg-grandson of
Patrick Campbell who died in Cumberland county in 1775. Patrick was related
to Farquhard Campbell which much has been written about. I wish there were
more of us out there. Actually, a lot of the names listed below show up in
my family.

Campbells
settled in Moore County,around 1777, when their first daughter,
Catherine,
was born. They are believed to have come from the area of
Perthshire,
