Good Morning again
Before my throne in my flesh appeared, there were those of you searching for the
connection to Ewings and others.
Ihjave part of what appears to be a letter. pertaining tothe Ewing family., or i maybe a
compilation by someone onhe Ewing family hat I only have a part. Anyway will try and find
a starting point There is an Elizabeth (Ewing abc ) who was born on Dec. 24, 1821 and
married William Addison Sheppard who was born July 6, 1823 in Washington Co., Va. They
were married June 18, 1846. They had a daughter Abigail Sheppard who married in 1865 to
GEORGE WASHINGTON CAMPBELL, who was a Civil War veteran. About 1870 they left Ohio for
Waverly, SangamonCKok.,Ill. It was on the Campbell farm near Waverly hat Elizabeth died
Dec.20, 1872.
The following spring the Campbells went to Lyons, Victoria Township, Rice Co., Ka. George
died there in 1897 and Abigail moved to Medora, Reno Co.,Ka. This George Washington
Campbell was ason of Charles and Irene (Prose). George was six feet tall, darkhair, fair
complexion and dark , almost black eyes.
