All,
Very glad I did the test. I didn't match any of the current 135 participants and
therefore my family became R1B1 group 43. The information you receive with the test is
worth every penny. I spoke with a Campbell cousin in NH and he ordered his test
yesterday! This should be interesting as our common ancester would be born about 1700
Scotland.
The price of the Y-DNA25 Male 25 marker paternal test is now $148 for Campbell
participants. The price dropped when Family Tree DNA created the 37 marker test. (I paid
$179 Och! You know a Scot hates that!)

It's easy and painless. It's like swabbing the inside of your cheek with a Q-Tip.
My results came within one month and you can track progress on the site. Afterwards you
can even join
Ysearch.org and search other particpants if they elected to share their
data.
Hope this email finds all well in the world.
