Tony,
I see that the Campbell family has been identified. Sir Lachlan, 6th Bt
gives his address as 32 Malwood Rd. London SW12. However if he was
unloading unwanted stuff and that is how it was floating around, his cousin
Colin (with whom I was at school) may either be in London or NYC and his
sister is the well known Nina Campbell the interior designer who might know
whether any member of that family might be interested. I don't have Colin's
address but Nina appears in all the glossies and must have a shop somewhere.

Subject: [CAMPBELL] Campbell photograpahs
I have inherited a large album of about 100 photos belonging to one Frank
Campbell. The album dates from the period 1876 to 1901 and it seems that
he
was an assistant in the library of the British Museum in London. He also
seems
to have had a relative called G.T. Campbell who was a member of the
scottish
rugby team in 1894/95.
The photos are wonderfully evocative of the period and I would like it to
go
to a descendant of Frank Campbell if they can be located. I am not a
genealogist and do not have time to research this so if there is anyone out
there
who could supply information or is willing to pursue this, I would be very
grateful.
