To Jane Fullington,
I have a bio for a John Campbell. It states the family was from MA. (would
that have been Maine or Mass?) then to Lade George (where's Lade George?)
for a while in NY then to Butler co, OH where his wife died, then to
Sullivan/Vigo co, IN to Parke co, IN where he died in 1850. His gravestone
says b. 1770 d. 1850.
It's a lengthy bio so if you think it can help you email me direct so I can
email it to you.

Unfortunately your anti-spam filter blocked this message to you so I'm
resending it via the Campbell list.
John's sister, Mary Campbell (1738-1828) married John Tufts (1723-1802)
and
they moved to Maine where both died. John Campbell must have been
born
between 1734 and 1740, and although he had a large family we have not
been
able to find any trace of him. He was born in Londonderry, NH, as
were
all
of his siblings. Of course he may have also moved to Maine.
Nathaniel Campbell was born 21 March 1741 in Londonderry, NH, and died 21
May 1820, but we don't know where. We have this information for a
transcription of his family Bible. He and his family together with his
brother, Hugh Argyle Campbell (my ancestor) and family, moved first to NY
where Hugh died. Some of the family members stayed in NY but most of
them
moved to the Huron County area of Ohio. Some more of the next
generation
moved to the Porter County area of Indiana. A grandson of Hugh Argyle
Campbell, Barney Campbell, moved to Wisconsin. Barney Campbell (1809-?)
married Nancy and they had at least the children: Mariah (1834-1856),
Theodore (1836-1860), Mary (1842-?), Sarah (1844-?), Harriet (1850-?) and
Frank (1853-?). Mariah married J. Mudge and died at childbirth.
Theodore
married Millie Sanborn, but died young and apparently childless.
Sarah
married Frederick Stickney and they had many children. We know nothing
about their other children nor have we been able to locate any living
descendants.
