Mary Ellen;
You are descended from the Amherst county (Nelson County today) Campbell
clan. (Most of us are). Please be aware that when you reference CAPT
George Campbell that you realize that the Captain title is not a military
rank bestowed upon him but an honorary title given him based upon his
reverence and relationship with his neighbors. Do you have your Eady
Whitehead family tree? BH

Hi BH, yes I am talking about the same George & Margaret. I
descend down
through the line of George's to Bartholomew son of Capt. George Campbell &
Eady Burcher Whitehead to James Anderson Campbell. I just saw where you
had listed a George Campbell as being in this particular book and thought
perhaps they gave a history on him. Thanks, Mary Ellen
