AT;
On Route 220 around Roanoke were the speed limit is 35/45MPH they have a
flashing light approximately 1/8 mile prior to red light that will warm you
that you are going to have to stop. An excellent idea. After a dozen or so
Nelson county citizens get butchered, may be something will be done. BH

CUZ,
There is nothing that will match official STUPIDITY.
THEN the civic ELITE, insist on returning those proven incompetents to
office, as per their Partisan Loyalty.
I know that you have heard that bit abt; You cannot see the forest for
the
Trees. MY opinion for that over sight is that the trees are the Forest.
That thoughtless light instillation, would not have been as much
of a harzard as it will prove to be, IF Mr. -wizard had had the fore
sight
to have installed an advance warning light. SO: If light is flashing when
you
pass the Signal will be red.
That type of warning light was working for safety on Rt 130 in New Jersey
over 50 years ago & in my Travel in 47 of our States and 5 provinces
in
Canada, I have never seen any thing to be better. Course at ole boy over
there
in Nelson County, just aint
had no dealings with Traffic Lights, so he had to go out & rig up
something
to get someone killed & Crippled up.
A traffic light on any road with at least a 35 M.P.H. Speed limit should
have an advance warning light. MAY be they will learn after enough people
get
Killed & Crippled, and it WILL happen.
