Subject: Campbell of Madison Co. NY
I am looking for the Campbell's of Madison Co. My g-uncle was said to have been
born in (looks like)
Lexington, Madison Co. NY Dec. 27, 1831 Or 1839. He was Edmond O. Campbell and the
birth was viewed by a Dr. Spence and Mrs. Mitchell. He was in the Civil War and died at
Antietam. He was mentioned in the book "Banners South" The information comes
from an affidavit for pension for his mother Mary E. Campbell and is signed by her and his
father Andrew J. Campbell. Do you have any information on this?
