Mahala sounds like an Indian name. If I remember correctly, Cherokees were

in our brick wall!!!

Dilday b. 1813 in GA d. October 03, 1849 Dade, Co, MO and Nancy Campbell
b. 1818 NC and died sometime after 1860 in ?

As you can see we have two Campbells in this lineage. Nancy and Mahala,
I know nothing of their ancestry and would appreciate any help you can
give on either lady. I feel they are some how related. Thanks for your
time. Jan who is so excited to finally have Nancy's maiden name in OK
