Dear Arlene,
Stick with this list. It is for all Campbell families, worldwide.
The Campbell families in Canada may have first been in USA, then later moved
north to Canada, or the opposite migration route.
The Campbell families who arrived in USA or Canada probably started off in
Scotland or Ireland, most likely Northern Ireland (aka Ulster).
So at some point we will all be related back in time.
Keep posting you names, locations, and all questions you have, someone may
notice something from your information, and they might reply.
I notice you mention the place called "Campbell's Mountain". That sounds
immpressive! Were there alot of Campbell families there?
Best regards,
Lilly Martin

Subject: Re: [Campbell] Information
Hello ,
For some reason my posts were blank, I had posted twice. I was wondering
if there was a Campbell list that dealt with more Candian queries? My gggg
grandfather was Donald Campbell born 1787 from North Uist who came to Cape
Breton in 1831 and settled in Campbell's Mountain which is 8 km outside
of Whycocomagh ,Inverness County, Cape Breton.
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this .
Arlene
