Thank you AT. I went to Columbia SC years ago and got a copy of James N Campbell's
military records. So I know he was injured and then died at Camp Chattanooga, TN. There is
no family memory or lore of his body ever coming back to SC. My daddy's cousin did
get marker's from the V A for him and his brothers. The markers are in the Generostee
ARP church cemetery with many other ancestors.

Thank you so much for answering Jim.
I actually have GREAT news. A new cousin from 23 and me (and we haven't
even sorted out how we are cousins yet!) was able to take the info I have and
is pretty sure she broke down my brick wall!!! I am so excited. Later
today she's going to send me info on my only-child g-grandfather's uncle
(gg-grandfather and the other brothers died in Civil War, no other children).
Since she found Uncle Samuel W, she located parents Jesse and Sarah plus
found Sarah's maiden name that I've never been able to locate!
AT--I will post when I get info but I don't know yet if they came from VA.
I have had them stuck in SC forever.
It's a happy day for me y'all. Hope yours is good too. I'll just sing in
the rain today!
More info soon
