?? Funeral services for Granville Mike Campbell, Sr., 64, a lifetime Atoka area resident,
will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 11 at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka
with the Rev. Gene Sluder officiating, assisted by Bro. Arvel Hall.
??? Burial will be in High Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral
Service in Atoka.
??? Campbell died Monday, September 8, 2008 at Durant.
??? Born at Atoka on April 12, 1944, he was the son of Granville Melvin Campbell and
Minnie Lee Hicks Campbell.? He attended schools at Forrest Hill and Atoka and was a member
of Blackjack Baptist Church.
??? Campbell worked as a truck driver, mechanic and in construction.
??? He married Noma Jean Kimbrell at Fort Worth, Texas on May 6, 1965.
??? Preceding him in death were his parents, Granville Melvin and Minnie Lee Campbell;? a
daughter, Lisa Michelle Campbell;? a sister, Effie Weeks;? and a brother, Johnny
??? Survivors include his wife, Noma Campbell of the home;? three sons, Granville Mike
Campbell, Jr., Jimmy Don Campbell and Tommy Campbell, all of Atoka;? three daughters,
Rhonda Graham and husband, Mark, and Kerrie Looper and husband, Patrick, all of Atoka;?
and Shannon Daily of Caney;? nine grandchildren, Tammie, Kasi, Stormi, Katlyn, all of
Caney;? Courtney, Makalah, Kimberlee, Dominque and Jacob, all of Atoka;? three foster
grandchildren, Xavier, Starla and Cadence, also of Atoka;? two sisters, Helen Koger and
husband, Doug of Atoka;? and Linda Thompson and husband, John, Krum, Texas;? five
brothers, Robert Campbell and wife, Christine;? Lonnie Campbell and wife, Sherry, and
Stephen, all of Atoka;? Donnie Campbell, Decatur, Texas;? and Kennith Campbell and wife,
Mary of Ardmore;? along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved
??? Honorary pallbearers are Freddie Kimbrell, Jerry Kimbrell, Junior Radocich, Blake
Harbin, Tommy Stabley and Charles McLemore.
