I don't know if my Campbell's are connected or not, but my earliest Campbell
came from North Carolina.
The earliest Campbell I have is Daniel Campbell b. Nov 10, 1790 N.C., d. Mar
10, 1759 White Co., Tenn., he married Martha 'Patsy' Allison on Sep 4, 1811,
she was born Feb 27, 1791.
I don't know what part of N.C. Daniel was born.
They had the following children: William Pickett, b.1812, Nathaniel b. 1813,
Joseph Daniel b. 1814, John E. b. Dec 11, 1815, Nancy Grace b. Jan 8, 1822,
James M. b. 1828, all born in White County Tenn.
William Pickett Campbell was my GG Grandfather. They moved on into Adair
Co., KY., and some of his children moved into Wayne and Casey counties.
William and his wife Lucy Jane Allison had Joseph Jasper, John Newton, Betsy
M., Sallie A., James R., Eliza Martella, Naomi F., Bird S., and Nancy
Emaline.
James R. was my G Grandfather, he married Armelda Jane Loveall.
I keep watching these posts for a connection, but haven't seen any.

There was a group of Campbells in the 1790 census,
Richmond, NC, all living
within a page or two of one another. I know who the
Richard, James and James,
JR. were but have no idea if the others are related.
I am hoping someone on
this big board might have a connection. Daniel,
William and John Campbell
were on page 8 of 10.....another Daniel, Arch'd and
Angus Campbell on pages 6
and 7. The Richard and James Campbell I mentioned
were on 2 and 3. Another
John Campbell on page 4. Has anyone traced their
lineage back to any of these
men? I tried One World Tree on Ancestry but gave up.
Too many conflicting
listings.
