Doris, do you (or does anyone) have a child born in NC by the name of
Milton Campbell (b abt 1800; d 1847)? He is my brick wall. He ended
up moving to OH and then IA. His wife was Matilda Napier. They had
four children: Patrick V, John D, Asford "Floyd," and Wm Marvin (my
great grandfather.)
I sure would like to find out some more about this family and when
they arrived in the USA.

A.T I have my family back to 1765 when Abner Campbell was born, They
came
from Craven Co, NC, didn't do this on my own, there were a lot of distant
relatives that help me, I have to give them credit, they did most of it.
Even though I don't know that many of them, they shared what they had.
And it helped alot, my family of Campbell settled in Posey Co, IN
ail to CAMPBELL-request(a)rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe'
without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
