Hi, Liz,
Yes, I think this is the same family as yours. They're from Kerrera and had nine
kids. They're not exactly my relatives, but two of the children married rellies of
mine, and I got off on this tangent this week when I acidentally discovered a
Campbell/McCulloch birth on the same page as one of mine.
As far as I could discover this week, John McCulloch (son of Duncan McCulloch and
Sarah McCowan?) and Catherine Campbell married 16 July 1835. They seem to have had Duncan,
1836; John, 1838; Mary, 1840; Sarah, 1841; Ann, 1844; Catharine, 1846; Archibald, 1849;
Susan, 1852; Margaret, 1855.
To totally confuse matters, Catharine McCulloch seems to have married an Alexander
Campbell in Ardchattan in 1876 and had a daughter called Catherine Campbell (sigh!!) in
1877.
Archibald McCulloch married Margaret MacNiven, my granny's sister, in Connel in
1877. Margaret McCulloch married my granny's brother, John MacNiven, in Glasgow in
1883. I can give you more details on these people if you want. Contact me at my email.

It has been a while since I have thrown out the fishing line on George
Campbell, born 1850 in Baltimore, married to Margaret Barker or Baker. Off
spring Howard Jerome, and three girls (names not handy). Anyone with
information? Would be greatly appreciated. Just got back from Scotland
where I got to see the Castle at Inveraray and the ruins at Dollar. Quite
impressive.
