Hello, Cornelia: I'm so sorry, but I don't recognize any of your
names--but then I'm new to Campbell history. If I come across anything, I will let
you know. Good luck! Michael San Francisco

Hello,
I am researching a Samuel Reed Campbell b. abt 1806 MA/RI of Pillar
Point and Sacket Harbor, NY. I am having great difficulty tracing him
prior to 1850, which, by then, he had removed to Vernon, Michigan. I
do know that he was in Pillar Point and Sacket Harbor, I have bits
and pieces of evidence to that, though not very much. I cannot find
him in MA/RI, nor can I find a likely marriage between a Campbell and
a Reed.
I did find this at NEHGS, but if I recall correctly, Lucinda isn't a
Reed, and I'm unable to prove this is Samuel Reed Campbell nor can I
find his marriage.
1807 CAMPBELL Samuel, s, William and Lucinda, Aug. 27, 1807. Oxford,
MA
Samuel Reed Campbell m. Mary Kendall Stone b. abt 1806 MA dau of
Jesse Stone and Susannah Kendall
their children, I believe all were born in Pillar Point/Sacket
Harbor;
Washington
Henry Edward
Loren E.
Augusta Melvina
Franklin
Luella
I wonder if he might be a descendant of your Samuel Campbell?
I've queried regarding Samuel and Mary for years, and done what I
could long distance to research them, but have got little response at
all.
regards,
Cornelia
