Hi- I don't have any info on John, but wondering if you have info on Thomas.
I have a brick wall in Pa. in Venango Co. Have you had a DNA test and joined
the Campbell group? Thanks, Lois

Subject: [Campbell] John Campbell married in Maryland (1792)
Please let me know if you have any information regarding a John Campbell
whom was married in Cecil County, Maryland on May 16, 1792, to a widow
named
Polly Evans. Polly Evans, previously believed to be known as Mary
Passmore (daughter of William Passmore and granddaughter of John
Passmore), had
apparently been married to Reese Evans (they evidently had two children –
Joel Evans and Jane Evans). John Campbell is believed to have been born
in
Scotland (although at least one source says Maryland). Available
information indicates that John had at least two children – Thomas (born
in 1794 in
Maryland, died in 1879 in Pennsylvania) and William (born in 1796 in
Maryland, died about 1825). I would particularly appreciate any
information on
John Campbell’s birth, death, and parents. Thank you for any help you can
provide.
