PLEASE: Cousins,
I asked this question on the Campbell@rootsweb LIST
MY Question, This John Campbell Must have some Descendants
I wonder IF this IS the answer, BUT it is an interested Campbell Family
Member SEEKING Answers answers as we are.
AS I say, <ASK & ANSWER QUESTIONS SOME ONE KNOWS>
This Campbell Family Cousin, Just might shed some light on the path that
OLE CUZ John took from Back home, in Va. to ALA> though the records were
Destroyed, NEVER forget em old Trunks sitting around, Just like that old
news Paper, From little Acorns do big Oaks Grow. If Y,ALL might remember
something that Granny used to say???
One of EM Granys Just might have had a saying about <OLE John Campbell,
bout Ole Dan Tucker???
Remember that little Dutch Boy, I doubt if he could sing the Nation
Anthem, But he knew enough to stick his finger in the hole & save the Dike.
AW AT, YEA I know, but a sentence is not Complete With one missing word.
Some where in Some Campbell Family Members Home, I,ll bet the Answer about
Ole CUZ John Campbell has been siting there all of these Years
Now CUZ BH, Has this to say, <Not only does your John Campbell
<MarriedAmey Webster> Match DNA with Abraham Campbell Of Russell County
Va, But he matches George Campbell and Francis
Campbell, Both with earley Amherst County Va Connections
Though the Records were Destroyed in Jackson County ALA. there is no
record of the Records From, Albemarle, Amherst Or Washington Counties in Va
having been Destroyed, Does any one have an IDEA of how many John Campbells
were Born in these Va Counties in 1779???
With CUZ BH knowing about their <DNA Match, There must be some kind
of record of, Stray John Campbell in Jackson County??
The answer just Might be that Easy.

Hello Cousins, can you explain what the Orphans Court was? Is this John
Campbell the orphan or did he die and leave Orphans ?
My GGG Grand father was John Marion Campbell and his father was John L. M.
Campbell I do not not think it could have been John Marion Campbell as he
was born 1851 in Mississippi his father John L.M. Campbell was born April
22 1812 But my Grandparents went back and fourth between TN Miss. and Ala.
So who knows. Not sure if it will help but Who knows

Come on Campbell Cousins OF Jackson County ALA.
Shake a FEW trees & see if there is a Connection to OLE CUZ John
Campbell, WHO Knows this Just Might be the Leap over Your Brick Wall.
I,ll bet
there is a Distant Campbell Family Connection Back to 1835. Cousins,
These 4
Words are the Foundation to the Greatest Genealogical Brick wall that ONE
will ever encounter <IT JUST CAN'T BE> Then Learn that their Grt Grand

Remember; <ASK & ANSWER QUESTIONS SOME ONE KNOWS>
Campbell Cousins of Jackson County, ALA.
Please: _atpowelljr(a)aol.com_ (mailto:atpowelljr@aol.com) CUZ A T
just ran across an old note taken from THE HUNTSVILLE DEMOCRAT (published
in
Huntsville, AL) dated June 21, 1835:
"State of Alabama - Jackson County - Orphans Court, June 13, 1835. John
Campbell, deceased."
Unfortunately, the Orphans Court records (the forerunner of the Probate
Court)
were burned during the Civil War. Therefore, this newspaper notice is all
that
exists relative to the estate of John Campbell who died in 1835.
