The Coffey clan and related families are having their annual reunion on 25 July in the ole
village of Coffeytown. Coffeytown is just west over the mountain from where our George
Campbell raised his family on the headwaters of the Piney River. Whereas our George
Campbell received his peace of mind from the Piney River, Jordon Coffey, head of the
Coffey family. received his peace of mind from Stratton's Run. I am sure that they
were good and closely connected neighbors. Those Campbell-kids related or interested in
these families are welcomed to attend. Information on the reunion follows:
The Coffey Reunion will take place at Macedonia Methodist Church in
Coffeytown. The church service will start at 11:00 am and there will be
a pot luck lunch at noon, so bring a dish, something to drink and a lawn
chair. The date for the reunion is Sunday, July 25, 2010.
Dianne Gardner has documented her Coffey and related families in a book that is
