What part of Alabama are we looking for? I have some info that may
or may not help, I have a map drawn up by a gentelman, of Madison and
Jackson Co, and the Campbells that were living at various times on each
side of these borders. I notice That there is a Lavina married to a
William Campbell On the Madison Co. side near New Market it looks like
it says 1849, then on another map I see at a different time 1798 a
Lavina also Married to a William it looks like her Maiden name is
Methvin and in 1831 I also see a James S. Methvin on the Jackson Co.
side right over the border. If this sounds like the right area this
Campbell could very well be related to me, it is very hard to tie this
all in, there have been several of us researching this area for years
and haven't had any success as of yet. Let me know all you can on this
GOOD LUCK and HAPPY HUNTING.

Does anyone have a LAVINA W. CAMPBELL on their family tree? CAMPBELL
would be her married name; her surname is unknown. She married a JOHN
WILLIAM CAMPBELL about 1829 and was living in Alabama in 1846 when my
great-grandfather, HENRY CAMPBELL, was born. JOHN WILLIAM & LAVINA were
my gr-gr-grandparents. Who were their parents and siblings?
