1. Would like any info on Great Grandparents
a. My gg-father J. G. Campbell, b Jan 21, 1859, d 1938, both in Perry
County, KY. Was Perry County
Judge 1910-1914. Name was "Garret" (phonetic, not sure of spelling).
Spelling of name, any brothers and
sisters needed. Know his ancestors were among original settlers in
state.
b. wife Sally Napier b Dec 17, 1864, d 23Aug 1887. Any info on lineage
wanted.
c. Father of JG Campbell, John "Blackbeard" Campbell, b about 1834, d
1903. Fought in Civil War
for north. Many "John" Campbells with various middle names of same era
in Kentucky, so not sure of
"Blackbeard's" ancestors. Any info appreciated.
d. My gg-father on other side James "Black Jim" Campbell, b May 5,
1843, Jan 11, 1925. Would like
to know parents, sibiling, list of children besides my grandmother
Susie.
e. James' wife Rebecca Campbell, b Dec 25, 1848, d Sept 3, 1918.
All lived in or near "Campbell's Bend" (Perry County) one of areas
originally settled by Campbells in
Kentucky, and a, b, d, e probably born there. JG may have been brother
to James, as JG's son Edd and
James' daughter Susie (my grandparents) were 1st cousins. Yep, that's
Kentucky!
Thanks
