lots of Scots in Ulster. check out info on the Ulster Plantation.
My ggg grandfather Patrick Campbell, born 1795, Ireland, married to Esther
Campbell,
born 1797 Ireland.
These are my dead ends. I don't know where they were born.
They had six children, James, 1830, being my gg grandfather
James married in 1858 and raised his family in Brampton, Ontario and Niagara
Falls, Ontario.
It takes money to research Ireland from here.(Canada)
I would dearly love to find out where Patrick Campbell was born.
There's no one left alive in my family who knows this connection.
My grandfather Frank, died in 1979 was the one to make up the family tree I
have.
I have been searching in vain for some cousins out there for a year now.
