Most of the queries here seem to be from the southern and midwestern US.
I am seeking information on the ancestors of my grandfather, Alexander
Bellew Campbell. He was born in Co. Fermanagh Ireldand (possibly
Enniskillen). He was born April 25, 1885 and died in Milton, MA in
January 1963. He married Julia Cronin (Kanturk, Co. Cork Ireland) in
East Boston, MA in 1920 and she died in 1923, shortly after the birth of
her second child.
His father was Alexander Campbell (1856-1910) from Glen, Tempo PO, Co.
Fermanagh, and his mother was Mary Magdalen O'Connor (1860-1916) from
Ballyreach, Co. Fermanagh.
If anyone has any information on the Campbells in Co. Fermanagh, I'd
love to hear from them.
Thanks.

Hi
Was chatting to a friend in Denmark and was telling him that I am doing
research into my roots. He told me he tried but could not find anything.
I had a look for him, by doing a random search with Cyndi's List. With in 5
minutes I found a web page with his whole family going back to the 1820's.
Needless to say that he was ecstatic!
Oh well, my search continues :)

Quentin,
I wonder if Campbells are notorious in this respect? My Campbell line is one
of my two most stubborn.

Recently I came across information about my Gr-gr-gr-grandmother who's
name was Delia Ann Campbell, she was probably born sometime around
1850. I can only guess using 1892, the date my great grandmother was
born, as a reference point;as her name is all I have in the way of
statistical data.I do know that she probably married in or around Iowa
as that is where most of this branch of the family is from, but I cannot
be sure. I know that she married John Jacob Stinman, they had a
daughter, named Mary Louise who married Charles Elmer Thomas May 27,
1888. They had four children, including my great grandmother Clara
Lorena Thomas who was born in Avondale, Adair CO., Iowa in 1892 and
married Robert Samuel Harter, on June 8, 1913. Is there anyone out there
who can help me with more information about Delia Ann and her family?
