I am a Campbell descendent, but what I am interesting in the Morrison's right
now. My Morrison I can trace back to 1864. He is J.C. Morrison (Joshua
Covington) Morrison b. 1864 Ala. J.C.'s father supposed to have died during
the civil war. Do not know his first name. But have been told the Morrison's
in Alabama migratred to Tx. Have been told I have a lot of cousin's and
double cousin's in Tx in Eastern Tx. If you have any kind of info that may
help, it would be very helpful. So of the old tale's passed down may some
Morrison's from Al. Have a gut feeling J.C. Mother remarried after the Civil
War and some the children migtarated to Tx. J. C. Morrison and his wife Molly
Mary Magaline Worley went to Tx with there children C. E. Morrison, Allen J.
Morrison and Holbert Morrison married to a Parrot Walker from Tx. They were
in Tx around 1899-1902 to 1908, when they moved back to Tn., Lincoln Co. they
came back in a Covered Wagon. J. C. Morrison supposed to have homesteaded
some land but left it. It would be very appreciative for any info that may
be close. You can email me BGeneMorri(a)aol.com.
Thanks for any
