Hi, Scott,
Are you asking for a mammoth genealogy of all Campbells, complete with
sources? Online? I don't think so. I know the Clan Campbell Society
(North America) collects family group sheets from its members, but don't
know what is done with them once they are submitted. Diarmid?
There is a marriage database and a census database at:
http://www.csihq.com/campbell
which was put together by by Dave Johnson and Michael Black.
I've been thinking it would be great to have some Campbell gedcoms
converted to html files. The program I like is GedPage, which creates
html-coded family group sheets from a gedcom, complete with sources and
notes once you register it. You can get the program from the following
web page:
http://www.frontiernet.net/~rjacob/gedpage.htm
I've used Ron Jacob's program to produce some family group sheets on my
Gaunt/Gant web site:
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~cgaunt/Gaunt/gant/index.htm
The problem is, how do you handle family groups that aren't linked? Can
gedcoms be merged to create a large set of web pages?
Anyone have any ideas?
Chris

Hello,
I'm new to this group and have been reading with great interest the last
week the messages posted with incomplete (but extensive) lineages for
Campbell's in the USA. I was wondering if there is a compiled database
of all these lineages and their sources?
I hope that's not a rudimentary question that everyone but me knows the
answer to...please forgive if so.
Thanks in advance.
