Rob;
Are you completely disregarding Shirley Craft's e-mail on this subject dated
17 July - her authority
for declaring Henrietta being a Catlett? Regards BH

Subject: [Campbell] Henrietta Campbell-wife of Lawrence Campbell
Alright cousins, after beating my head against that brick wall that
is
Lawrence Campbell (sr), I've tried a new approach in my research-chasing
after Lawrence's wife, Henrietta.
For years of my research, I have seen several records that indicate that
Henrietta (Amelia) CATLETT-CAMPBELL was the daughter of Colonel John
CATLETT in peoples personal pedigree charts, but I never saw the
documentation offering support of this claim (if somebody has this, PLEASE
let me know). Was Henrietta the wife of a Catlett who died before 185??
(when she married Lawrence) or is she not a Catlett at all (and the name
was confused with Charity Catlett since they were neighbors).
Just recently, I came across a file for Henrietta that says that a family
story said she was a Duchess from Holland (as it was known back then)
making her a Dutch duchess (no joke intended). She fell in love with an
English Sailor (against the wishes of her family) and moved to the
colonies. So I just went surfing for information. While searching, I came
across some very interesting name patterns for them, including a Henriette
Amalia (close enough to Amelia, wouldn't you say??). She died before my
Henrietta was born, but the naming patterns are very similar, so perhaps
Henrietta was a granddaughter?? Plus we have the legend passed down in the
family. Take a look at the link and tell me what you think.

The name Henrietta is common in this family (2 of her daughters are named
Henrietta)
Okay cousin Bucky, I know it sounds stir crazy, but maybe....just
maybe.....it's a new lead.
