This item was published in the Huntsville Magazine that published in 1835.
It was a fore runner to the probate. court. This John Campbell is a mystery
because I have a John Campbell, born 1779 in Virginia. He moved from VA to
TN, then to Madison, then to Jackson County, AL. He married Aney Webster in
1819 in Madison County, AL. He had a lot of children with Aney Webster, and
also other children that was born before 1819 in VA. I do not know her
name. These Campbells tended to name their children by a naming pattern.
As you probably know, our John Campbell matched DNA 67/67 with Abraham
Campbell, who was a Campbelite minister. This Abraham is the son of another
Abraham Campbell. The oldest Abraham Campbell is supposed to be the son of
Henry and Jane Greenwood Campbell.
