Also, Ellis Campbell had land under name Ellis Camel. He lived next door to
an Emor Stalcup in 1850 (Slushers, Campbells then Stalcups). Emor signed
Ellis' land claims/purchases. Emor also wrote letter to make changes in
land purchase.
In 1840 Reynolds county MO, Ellis Campbell lived near a J Young.. I think
this may be his brother-in-law (Ellis m Elizabeth Young).
I am posting this to the Campbell board.. and I know you know all this
already.

1803. Can find him nowhere until he gets to Ripley Co., Mo. in 1840. He is
on the 1850 Shannon Co., Mo. census. He lived next to the Slusher families,
who were also from Va. Ellis had children born in Ala..
