For what it's worth I noticed that some Campbells lived in New York as
British soldiers and after the war moved to Eastern Ontario where they
received land grants and there decendants may have subsequently moved back
to the U.S. Many Highlanders emigrated to Canada and subsequent generations
moved to the U.S. never to be heard from again. Don't ask me for any names
it was just a general observation.
