Hello, I show an Edward Campbell son of Ellis R. Campbell of Middlesex, NJ
He is on the 1830 census of Somerset Co., NJ. I have no other info
regarding him. Edward is not a common first name in my Campbell line. But
I have collected the Campbell surname for a lot of years and I do show this
one Edward in NJ. But I don't have alllll of them collected and probably
won't get them all in my lifetime. Ha. Jeanette.

Bob, the Edward I'm searching was born 1746 and I know he was in
Cumberland Co. NC. in 1790. May have lived in the Buie Creek are of what
is now Harnett Co. close to Johnston Co. Where did your Edward come into
America? VA? Cape Fear? SC? or somew
here else? Can't track my Edward's path to Cumberland Co. Any
Suggestions? Thanks, Wanda

Hi Wanda,
I have an Edward Campbell that was born in Scotland around 1757 and
came to
US in 1788. Does this fit the one you are looking for?
Bob Campbell
