Does anyone have a Dugald CAMPBELL, b. circa 1805, m. 21 Nov 1829, to Ann
KEITH, b. 21 Dec 1805, all in Islay, Scotland, living in Grey County,
Ontario, Canada from 1832?
Malcolm CAMPBELL
Windsor, Ontario
Hi May,
I'm sorry, but they don't seem to be connected with any of the Campbells
that I am researching.
I do have a Noah, but neither his son or his father is named Noah.
I have a couple of Man Campbells (Manuel, Emanuel, Emmanuel) but I don't
think they are of your line.
All my Campbells are in and around Breathitt and Perry counties in KY.
There are two main unrelated branches of Campbells there.
One bunch down around Hazard, Krypton, Chavies and Campbells Bend descend
from a pair of brothers
named John and William Campbell.
The other bunch near the mouth of Troublesome Creek and Haddix, KY descend
from a John Zachariah Campbell,
who is unrelated to the first bunch.
Good luck in finding your ancestors.
Jim Robinson

I hoping to find someone who may have the answers to my mysterious
Campbell ancestors. I can't seem to fine anyone after my grandfather,
Noah Campbell, Sr. He had a brother by the name of Garson Addison
Campbell. I have found both of them on the 1930 census and death
certificates but nothing that goes back farther than that.
My uncle whom is deceased now told me he thought their father was
named Frank but I haven't been able to confirm that. He also gave me
the names of Man and Ethan Campbell but again nothing to confirm this
either. He said that he were from the Darlington SC area and
originally they came from Oklahoma.
If anyone has any info that might be able to share or has any idea
where I should try a new search would be helpful.
Thanks,
May Campbell Evans
