Dottie, I don't promise you anything but I may be able
to help you... My campbell tree is about 2000 names so
it will take me a few days to sort thru it but I have
a lot of Archibalds', a lot of John, James and more

Can you give me an idea of when your Malcolm was born

Have you tried the following website.
http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
There is a small charge, but I have found it good value for money.
As with most research, the more information you have, the easier it is to
identify potential hits.

Good Evening,
This is just a quick note to let those who know were we are know that we are safe. My son and grandson went out and help in the early part of the flooding. We will be safe from the flood even if Baker Dam does go, which we are praying it will not do.
The medical teams here with the help of the nat. gaurds are in the process of evacuateing the hospital in Sedro. More of the roads are uinderwater. Cape Horn is uinder water, parts of Concrete are underwater as well as Marble Mount. U. S. 20 (North Cascade Highway) is uinder water in more than one place and the mud slide has washed away the hiway between Concrete and Marble Mount.
I think they have started sanding bagging the dikes in the Mount Vernon area as the rivers are still rising. AAir resue have taken place and the small airport at Concrete is also being used as means of flyiing help in.
But as I stated, We are SAFE. But some of our poor neighbors either direction are not.
God be with all of you,
Beth
Since this list has been active the last few days, maybe someone out
there can help me to climb
my brick wall. I am looking for information on James Campbell. All
that I have is the following.
Husband: James Campbell
Birth: ca. 1780, SC or NC
Marriage: Do not have any information on his wife, except she may have
been from Ireland.
Known Children: (1) Mary P. Campbell
Birth: ca. 1805 SC
Marriage: To Joshua Teague (b. 1814
Newberry SC)
(2) John Campbell
Birth: ca. 1807 SC
Wife: Hannah
The family moved from South Carolina sometime after 1819 to Georgia.
Somewhere between 1848 and 1850, the family moved to DeKalk Co.,
Alabama.. In 1860 James Campbell was living with Sarah M. I do not
know if Sarah was a daughter or daughter-in-law.
I hope with all the Campbells participating on this list that someone
can help me.
Jim Hall
Thanks for the email... but checking out Campbell's
that ended up in the USA would not do me any good
because mine never were in the USA except for a very
brief one year before they further emigrated to their
eventual original destination of Canada. I myself am
