Lana,
Thank you,
Am very busy bu would sure like to know what all you found on your visit to
the homeplace. Sure glad that you enjoyed the trip. Hope that you are
getting rested.
Still would like to meet your daughter or granddaughter and go back and see
Winnie.
She just might want to talk to us. I just have this different feeling.
Now, would you p0lease hold us up in prayer at 8:30 Pacific time on the 5th.
We will be going into court at that time and can use all of the prayer that
we can get. Have been going just as fast as I am able to go and the Dr.
has told me to slow down or else I may have a stroke. Do you have any idea
how hard it is for me to slow down when things have to be done?
I must go for now.
My computer is finally back on tract. It caught a virus and was pretty sick
for awhile but is back on tractfor now.. Not sure just what or how much was
lost. Have not had time to look and see.
Beth

Subject: New tombstone on an old grave
Hello Listers, Well, my gr gr grandfather is getting a tombstone
this coming week. Ellis Campbell, born in Virginia in 1804 and died
12 Dec 1881 in Iron Co., Mo. while living on the Kuhn Farm on Marble
Creek Road, with his daughter and her husband. He has never had a
tombstone, just a rocked in area near a fence, where his daughter
and her husband are buried. It gives me goosebumps to know
that we are finally getting him a tombstone. The little
cemetery is under 3 huge cedar trees and has large hand-cut
rectangular rocks surrounding it. Thank goodness, it had the rocks
since anyone has ever known, or we may never have found it. I hope
that many more of the Campbell researchers are able to do such as
this, it gives you a great feeling!!! And so many of the family
helped to make it possible. Jeanette Henson McClure.

Hi everyone,
I would like to mention that all of you who have Campbell ancestors from
Ireland that many of the Campbell Clan who supported their chief in the
Monmoth rebellion escaped to Ireland. They then came to America in the
generations following.
Your ancestors ? Good Luck, David Campbell

Hi Diarmid,
I tried www.canada411.com website and there does not seem to be a Patrick MacCulloch listed in Toronto
Is the Robert Campbell the one you wrote about in the Journal a few years back or the Campbell who was a
fur trader in the Yukon? The later had a book written about his exploits albeit not that exciting.

Carol:
I have a Jesse Campbell, b. about 1822, who married Mary Bensall/Bonsall on
31 Mar 1844 in Jefferson Co. OH. I have no info on their parents. Any
connection, possibly to your Jesse, Jr.? Migration from Tioga Co. NY to
that part of OH wouldn't have been all that unusual around then, I've
noticed.
thnx,

Hi Campbell Listers,
I am new to the Campbell list. I am trying to find who the parents are of
Jane Campbell, b. 1810, Kentucky, married Hugh Love in Mercer County, PA
1831, died in Trumbull Co, OH in 1880. I believe she had a brother, James
Campbell, also born in Kentucky, who married Hugh Love's sister, Jane Love.
Sources of information are: Love Bible record, census, and History of
Trumbull County by Upton.
M. Hall
Lyn,
Sorry we didn't match. Wiley Campbell's father came from the north of
Ireland by way of Scotland. He was to have "picked up" a wife in Scotland but
married a German girl he met on the ship instead. I have no proof of this; it's
family lore. Wiley was born around 1849 in Indiana or Iowa and named his eldest
son Milton Anderson Campbell. He named his second son Joseph. I was hoping
Maria was his relation and that she could account for the name of one or two of
his sons. Still can't figure out where the name Milton Anderson came from.
Thanks.

My John Calvin Campbell was born in 1771, and baptized in St. Giles in
Edinburgh, Scotland. He came with his parents to Moore Co. N.C. in about
1777, and died about 1821. If you have any Moore Co.N.C. Campbells, I would
like to share with you.
Cornelia
Thanks for your reply but I don't think we connect. The John Campbell I'm after was born July 18, 1710
Thanks anyway.

Bruce,
Do you know who was his wife, where he lived, the names of his children? The John Campbell
(1779-1835) I'm researching was married 1800 to Isabel Orr, lived in Franklin Cty, PA, and
they had six children.
Hope your John Campbell is this man's father.

No Milton that I am aware of, my line is through Joseph and Maria
Campbell Andersons daughter Mary here is a list of their children. As you can
