I'm not sure if this is a connection. I don't have any info on Robert prior
to his second marriage in 1816. Do you know where your Robert married Lydia
I have been told that Scots used a naming pattern for their children. I
know Robert had two sons from a previous marriage; John & William. There
could be more, but so far that is all I have been able to document.

Surname: CAMPBELL, FINE, MILLER, SMITH
I'm looking for any information on my husband's great-grandmother, Florence
CAMPBELL. She was born in the late 1800s and married Conrad H. FINE about
1910. I'm told she lived in Hendersonville, which is near Canonsburg, Washington
County, PA. She died during WWI in a flu epidemic. Her only child is Minnie
Pearl FINE, who was born in 1912 in Forward Twp., Allegheny County, PA.
>From conversations with other family members I have found that Florence
had a brother named Everett CAMPBELL (who's wife's name may have been Annie)
and they also remembers the names: Nellie CAMPBELL, Mildered MILLER, Jimmy
SMITH and Pucky SMITH as somehow being related to the Campbell family.
(Nellie may have lived in Boston, PA).
I'd really appreciate any information on this family since I know so little.
Any little bit would be great.
Thanks so much,
I am searching for information on John Leonard Campbell that married a Jesse

Does anyone on the list know of a Nancy J. Campbell b. abt. 1852 in IL, or an Alama Campbell b. abt. 1855 in IL? They are listed on the 1860 Coles Co., East Oakland Township, IL census. Any help is appreciated.
I would like any information on Owen Campbell, born ca 1752 in Culpepper
County, Virginia. I am researching an Owen Campbell who came to Madison
County, Alabama before 1810 in Madison County. He was listed on the 1820,
1811, and 1815 tax lists as 0 poll. Does anyone know if this is the same
Owen Campbell, or does anyone know who his children were?
Not all my info is proven by myself. Please take a look and see if we
can exchange info. Thanks, Ann

Surname: CAMPBELL, WYATT
Looking for information on my great grandmother, Emily O. Campbell Wyatt.
Campbell from 1st marriage.
1880 Newton County, Mississippi Census lists:
Wyatt, Elijah, 58, M, born in AL
Emily O., 23, F, born in MS, parents in Illinois
George H., 20, M, son, born MS (Elijah son from previous marriage)
Campbell, John, 3, M, Step-son, born in MS
Columbus 2/12 M born Feb. Son
Emily was apparently previously married since her & Elijah married Apr/12/1879
in Newton, MS. Campbell must have been her married name due to son, John
Campbell, listed in census. What was her maiden name? What happened to
her 1st husband? Who were her parents (born in IL)? How did she end up
Also, I'm very confused as to what Columbus listed on the last row is.
Is that another son? Was he 2 mos. old? Someone more familiar with the
way the census information was written please help me out.

I don't have a Mary CAMPBELL but I do have a Maria who was born in NS about
the right time. Is that close enough? Her parents were Murdoch (b. 19 Jul
1807) and Isabella (FRASER, b. 25 Dec 1810), both of Guysborough, NS. I have
birth dates for only some of their children but if any of the given names
turn up in later generations, we can try to match things up a little better.
Children: Josephine (b.1839), Maria, Warburton Harriet (b. 17 Dec 1841),
Margaret Ann (b. 20 Oct 1842), Esther Maria (b. 19 Apr 1845), Wentworth (b.
18 Aug 1849), Lavinia, Jessie, and Cranswick. Let me know if any of this

I'm new to this list and I do hope there is someone out there who can help me.
My gggg grandfather was George W Campbell, b abt 1833 in MS. The most I know of this man is that he ended up in Anderson County TX before 1852. He married a woman named Martha B. EVANS in Dec of 1852 b abt 1834 FL. They had 4 children; Flora Elizabeth (my ggg grandmother) b 9-2-1853 in Anderson Co., TX, P.A.A b abt 1856 Anderson Co., TX, Charles M. b abt 1859 Anderson Co., TX and Wilson L. b abt 1862 Anderson Co., TX.
My ggg grandmother was said to be quite a bit Indian. My grandmother remembers her, and said she was scared of her. I dont know if both of her parents were of Native American ancestry or just one. This family has been told of these Indians in the family since the early 1900's. Wheather they were or not, really doesnt much matter to me, I just want to know who they were.
Genealogy has become an addiction for me, sure glad it's not illegal, because I cant see myself giving it up too soon or very easily.
If anyone can connect with me this would be GREAT, even if you cant connect, perhaps you can tell me HOW to find my CAMPBELL in MS. It has so many counties and with no Soundex I dont even know where to begin.
