Hello Cousins,
Within the past few days I have received several emails concerning my
Campbell lineage down in Breathitt/Perry Co. KY, which is great! I can't
wait to see the documentation! But what is puzzling me is the researcher
refers to a court case in the House of Lords involving DUNCAN CAMPBELL,
Lord Ormelie b. circa 1659, Bolac Castle, leaving me totally in the
dark. What did I Miss? Can someone fill me in?
Regards,

I am new to this list - I'm looking for cousins!!
Looking for ancestors and descendents of Mary Campbell who was born in 1750 in
Cumberland County, Pa. I got much information about 20 years ago - but it has
been filed poorly. She married Joseph Wilford. - And I know had a brother,
Dougal Campbell. Is anyone out there related?
Hello fellow researchers,
I'm looking for anyone researching my gggrandmother, Caroline M.
CAMPBELL born 26 April 1810, married Samuel SOXE (also spelled SOX), and
died 9 May 1887. Both are buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetary in Vandalia,
Audrain Co., MO. I know nothing about her parents or siblings. Her
children included Alexander Campbell SOXE, my ggrandfather, who married
Emma Eliza PARKER. These 2 are also buried in the same cemetary.
If these names ring a bell with anyone, I would love to hear from
you.
Thanks and aloha,
Kay Nishimura

So would I. My ancestors are supposedly Breadalbane Campbells.

Jackie,
I received a descendancy chart from you (beginning with William Thomas
Campbell). Right now, I do not see any connections to my line. Did you
want me to do anything in particular with this information, or did you
just send it because I, too, am reesraching the Campbell name?
Judy --
Hello. I didn't find any connections between our Campbell families. James
and Margarette (McGinley) were both born in Ireland. Migrated from PA to
OH to IN.
my branch went on to Iowa for a while, then returned to IN. Thanks for
your interest.

Yes, often. I used to travel regularly between the two when I lived in
Argyll.

Inveraray is about 60 miles from Glasgow city centre, and you should
make it there and back comfortably in under 4 hours.
You will get a drive along Loch Lomondside, spectacular scenery, and a
visit to Inveraray and its castle if it's open (check, but it should
be). The extent to which you enjoy these will probably depend on the
weather, but the end of May is usually a good time.
There are many other things to see and do, of course. I would
recommend the trip as an excellent way to spend your day off.

Hi, Folks,
Unfortunately there is no "suspend" option with the list software we use.
You have to unsubscribe from the list to stop messages. You can use the
following page for assistance:
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~cgaunt/Campbell/purpose.htm
I've set up the mailto links so that the subject line is filled in for
you. But you do need to know whether you are on the digest or the regular
version of the list.
If you want to email direct, be sure to put the word "unsubscribe" in the
Subject line, and use the following address:
Digest subscribers: Campbell-D-request(a)genealogy.org
Regular subscribers: Campbell-L-request(a)genealogy.org
(It should work also if you put "unsub" in the subject line, but I've not
tested this.)
Then reverse the process when you get back from vacation. (Have fun!)
Let me know if you have problems.

Hi, hope I am sending this to the right place. I need instructions on how to
suspend messages until I get back from vacation? Please , Thank you. Margie C.
Has anyone on Campbell-L site been in Glasgow and Inveraray?
I will have free Sunday while in Glasgow in late May. Am wondering
if it worth while to make day-trip to Inverary and what can be accomplished
there on a Sunday. Will appreciate any first hand
information. DAD
