Forgive me as that was a personal note to Bill.....I seem to click reply
before observing...
However, I think that note about Dr. Clinch is pretty relevant, and most
lilkely, tho not a certainly, a relative of our illustrious ANN.. Did you see his
notable sidekick? Dr. Edward Jenner.......pretty impressive and London was
the area from which many doctors (of medicine) were transported (nice use of the
word) ..in order to spread out the medical knowledge in the maritimes and
Canada.....Newfoundland, of course, was not part of Canada, au contraire, until
1949---but was in and out of British rule from exploration time of John Cabot.
I am hoping to further check into this Dr. Clinch's family...If anyone is
interested, please join the (free) Grand Banks list: <A

And for the time of your life, plan a trip to Newfoundland. I would not have
guessed it to be better than any place I'd ever been, but my "Y2K FAMILY
REUNION" (mother's grandmother's surname) provided me the opportunity to find
out
much about her England-NF heritage.
