Subscriber, and Campbell Cousin, Diane OWLETT Pitts asked me to post
this - she's super busy at the moment and enjoying having her son Mike
back safely from a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Welcome back Mike! We
may have widely differing views on the wisdom of our country's foreign
policy, but I think we all agree on appreciating the efforts and
sacrifices our servicemen and women are making on our behalf.
Cousin Diane is inviting any of you who are interested to come to this
year's Owlett Reunion. Many of us have done so in the past. A lot of the
Owletts who attend are our cousins. They may not be the majority of
those attending, but it's a lot of Campbell Cousins under one roof
nevertheless. Plus, there are always non-Owlett Campbell Cousins there.
Marylyn Adams and I usually go. Bob and Betty Hazlett sometimes come.
Last year I met Phylis "Anne" SEELY Smouther and her sister, Margaret
SEELY Marzo.
They've kept it going for 103 years (if I recall correctly), so they're
doing something right. I can't promise good weather, but you can count
on good food and good company. Come a day early and enjoy sightseeing in
Corning, Keuka Lake, or Letchworth State Park -- or visit the Cowanesque
Valley and our Tioga Co. roots.
Let me know if you'd like directions.
Thanks Diane. Hope to see lots of old friends there and meet some new ones.

Annual Owlett Reunion
Our annual */_Owlett_/**/_ Reunion_/* will be held June 27^th at the
James Street Park in Hornell, NY, pavilion #6. The grills will be ready
by 11:30. Bring your own meat, drink, table service and a dish to pass.
There will be a white elephant sale so bring a wrapped gift for the
auction. Also we would love to see your old pictures and remember to
bring updates on addresses, births, deaths and marriages. This year we
have family members that have taken an active part of in Iraq, Iran and
Afghanistan, let’s take this time to encourage, pray and unite with each
other, remembering our family ties. Please set this time aside to join
with us in fun, games, swimming and memories. See you there, Diane
