I usually update our on-line Family Tree, "Campbells of Nelson, PA &
Related Luggs & Blackwells", every couple of weeks.
Lately I've been hard at work because, thanks to my son's friend, the
database from my old laptop was recovered. So I've been adding people
from that, and more important to some of you, sources. I'm processing
the tree from top to bottom, and left to right, and presently am about
half way through the Owlett entries.
Because of RootsWeb's privacy filters, you won't see the source
information for living people, but it's now on my computer if you have
questions. I've also been in touch with several "new" cousins and have
added their data. Our on-line tree now contains 11,895 individuals and
5,165 marriages. Fortunately the quality is improving as well as the
quantity, but that's harder to quantify.
But in spite of all those names now being on-line, no "new" cousins have
reached us because of the tree. Blackwell and other researchers, yes,
but no "blood" relatives. The new contacts all still come because of
message board postings or referrals from "known" cousins.
So, the tree will be growing steadily as I integrate data from my old
database. If you don't find what you are looking for, it may be there
in a few weeks. Take a look from time to time, it grows and improves
steadily.
Bill, glad to hear your good news on the restoration of your information.
I have a new entry for you.
Rhiver Ann Marie Pitts, b. 2-28-2009 in Ft. Lewis, Washington, Father:
Michael Paul Pitts b. 12-08-1980 and Mother: Cara Irene Gaylord Pitts b.
3-17-1984. They were married 10-09-2004
They also have Samantha Hayley Pitts b. 7-8-2007 in Hornell, NY
Yes the spelling on Rhiver and Hayley are correct.
We haven't see the new grand daughter yet but when Mike is deployed to
Afghanistan in June or July Cara and the girls will come back to NY State to
live. Mike is now Staff Serg. And training officer of the new Striker 2008
tanks.
Hope all is well in Allentown, we are busy in the computer shop and I am now
working at Kones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville and loving it.
God Bless,
Diane
