Campbell Reunion Association V.P. Rieta BAKER Boyden has booked the
Iroquois Pavilion, South Shore Recreation area of the Cowanesque Lake
Recreation area for our belated reunion. It will be Sunday, June 11,
2006. The site is off PA Route 49, between Lawrenceville and Nelson.
We've met at that pavilion before.
All families of descendants of Joseph and Mary Harper Campbell are
welcome - as are all subscribers to this newsletter, Blackwell and Lugg
families associated with past reunions, and any one else interested in
our genealogy or family history.
Details will follow. I presume it will be a covered dish picnic, as in
the past.
Please put it on your calendars right away -- and help spread the word
among those who might possibly consider coming. If in doubt, let them
know and leave the decision to them.
Make it a Campbell Week. Attend the reunion in Nelson Sunday, and Vicki
& Greg's wedding the following Saturday in Vancouver, WA. It's a short
trip from 'PA' to 'WA' -- only seven letters.
See you there. Come and meet some new faces. Those of us who have been
there before will enjoy seeing familiar old faces (mine is looking older
than I like to admit). The program is not determined yet, but judging
on precedents, there will be great food, fun, memorabilia, chances to
talk, and possibly chances to share your talents. Let us know if you
might make a musical or other performance contribution. Last time we
almost had some Celtic dancers. Maybe this time Tom Campbell and his
daughters can join us. My musical contribution will be NOT to sing -
but I might complete a Campbell Reunion poem I started last year. Let's
hear your ideas.
Thanks Rieta. And let us know if you can give a hand. Contributions to
cover mailing expenses will also be appreciated.
