It's been a long time since anyone but me has posted a message or query
to this list.
As administrator of the list, I now get ten or twenty message a day from
RootsWeb about spam that's been sent to the list and I have to review
and delete. It's a lot of bother if no one is going to use the list
anymore. Perhaps some of its former functions not are addressed by our
Campbell-Lugg-Blackwell Facebook Group, our website on Freepages, and
our tree on WorldConnect.
If no one intends to use it anymore, I will just terminate it.
Speak up if you want me to keep it available ---- the archives of old
messages will remain regardless.
All of the letters from The Campbell Cousins Correspondence Club from
volumes 1 & 2 (1923 & 1924) are on the web site. As well as a lot of
Volume 3. I'm now working on getting Volume 4 and the minutes of the old
Campbell Reunions ready to go on the web site too. And some photo albums.
And any of you who are interested in participating in a modern version
of the Correspondence (but private from the general public), please let
me know. If there's enough interest we can set one up.
Hi Bill -
It will be interesting to see the response to your email. I'm thinking most folks that
subscribe to the listserv are also in the Facebook group - but maybe not all of them!
Betsy
