As you see, I've made a complete fool of myself.
A lawyer acquaintance of mine has often said "Don't put anything in an
e-mail that you would be embarrassed if you were asked in court to read
out loud."
And I sure proved the wisdom of that.
They say "There's no fool, like an old fool", and I've worked hard at
proving it.
Believe it or not, I don't usually gossip. I don't know what lead me to
do that. Perhaps I was trying to show off being so chatty to impress
you. Who knows what I was thinking. I guess I wasn't.
Anyway, I've asked RootsWeb to remove the the inappropriate e-mails I sent.
But your messages

http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/CAMPBELL-PA-NELSON/2011-12/...
and
http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/CAMPBELL-PA-NELSON/2011-12/...
all encapsulate my inappropriate comments.
And they can only be removed if you request it.
You can do this by going to
http://rootsweb.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/rootsweb.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php
and requesting that they remove those 3 messages.
I would be eternally grateful if you would do so.
It's bad enough that I babbled about my own health issues, but I never
intended to say anything publicly about my wife's health issues, nor
MaryLyn's, nor Betty's family's, nor Bob Mitchel's temperament.
I owe it to them all to do everything in my power to make amends. So
begging you to ask to have your messages removed is only a tiny part of
what I need to do to repair the damage.
I know better than to gossip. I don't know what came over me. I'd like
to think some meds I'm on contributed, but even if that's the case, I
have no excuse.
