Interesting article - I don't remember seeing anything about it in the
Elmira paper. Wonder how the Tioga County schools & families ended up getting in
the story? (Out of all the other rural districts in the country?)

Usually I'm too busy with old newspapers, such as the 1886 Tioga
Agitator I was reading a few minutes ago to have time for the current
editions of the Times. And, our focus here is on history, not on
current events. Nevertheless, I thought it would be of interest to some
of you. Even tho it may be old, tired, non-news to others. But
occasional "changing times" stories about relevant people or places can
be legitimate.
