I did labor today at publishing an updated "Campbells of Nelson, PA &
Related Luggs & Blackwells" tree on RootsWeb.com's WorldConnect web
pages.
It's now at 13,775 individuals and 5,985 marriages.
I've "finished" putting all of Joseph and Ann Clinch Campbell's, and
all of
James and Jane Campbell Hazlett's descendants on Facebook's Family Tree app.
And I've started adding Sam and Sally Campbell Hazlett's desc. But it's a
time consuming process.
And since today is for recognition of Labor, congratulations and thanks to
all of you who were, or still are, workers.
And sympathy and best wishes to those who are unemployed or underemployed.
The other day an economist was stating that when a recession is brought on
by a "bubble", such as the housing bubble that preceded this one, that
historically it takes 7 years for the economy to fully recover.
This mail list is for history -- primarily family history --- but let's hope
history does not repeat itself this time.
It's easy to see why economics is often called "the dismal science".
Please don't respond by posting partisan commentary about current politics.
This isn't the venue for pro or anti Obama; or pro or anti tea party
opinions. etc. At least until enough years have passed so that they can
qualify as history.
This mail list has always been very well behaved and respectful of each
other. Congratulations and thank you all.
