Thanks. For some reason apparently I didn't do it at the time. It must be
hard dealing with her loss,
I was thinking of you the other day as I ran across a bunch of notes from
"Nellie" Horton Kimball.
I should be able to send you the letters you requested as e-mail
attachments. I guess I can scan Nellie's stuff and get the images to you as
attachments also.

Our on-line, published tree, "Campbells of Nelson, PA & Related Luggs
&
Blackwells" can be seen at
http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=capane&I11.x=33&am....
y=7
It ordinarily is updated every couple of weeks, but this update
contains
additional data on many people --- plus many more people ---- many of
the
additions are Ellisons. The tree now contains data on 12,854 individuals
and
5,574 marriages/unions.
The software that publishes the data on the web filters off the data
about
living people, except for sex and surname. This is to comply with
Federal
and state privacy laws. So, the database on my computer (the data is
shared
with Reunion Secretary Melissa Slocum Kirk) contains lots of data that
you
don't see. But neither do identity thieves or child predators. If you
have
questions about living people, please contact me directly ---- not via
this
list.
And PLEASE let Melissa or me know of family births, deaths, marriages
or
divorces. Thanks.
Hundreds of people have contributed data to our family tree. I hate to
single out anyone, because all contributions of data are appreciated,
But
special recognition must be given to Anne Pearson Lugg and Thelma
Ellison
Huyett for their monumental efforts to compile our family's records and
their extraordinary generosity in sharing the fruits of their labors.
Special recognition must also be given to family historians of the past
such
as Jane Campbell Tubbs, William Edward Selph, Jr. and Marjorie Eldredge
Buck. My apologies to the many others who have also made significant
contributions of data but are not given recognition in this message.
