I should have used my genealogy program's Relationship Calculator
function. Irma Peterson/Taylor Anderson is Roger Hughey's 1st cousin,
not his aunt. Hope that didn't cause too much confusion.

Some of you received an e-mail last night I sent out not using this
mail
list of marriages, births, and deaths. Some more data was received today.
But before I share that data, let me inform anyone who has not seen the
correction, that this years reunion will be on August 9, as originally
announced. An incorrect date was sent to some by mistake. The location
has always appeared correctly, it will be in the Nelson Twp. picnic
pavilion, near the North West corner of Cowanesque Lake, not in the Army
Engineering Corps recreational areas we have used previously.
I don't want to send the "Campbell Report 2007" via RootsWeb's mail
list
and have it stored on their website, but there's a brand new copy, as of
tonight, that I would be glad to send to any of you directly, if requested.
Today's new data is the 2007 birth of Cousin Shane Rowan Vauighan and
the 2007 death of Cousin Irma.PETERSON (she preferred TAYLOR) Anderson.
Irma was born Apr 4, 1909 in Brainerd, Crow Wing Co., MN, and died there
May 8, 2007. She was the daughter of John Peterson (1878 - 1956/59) and
Carrie May Hughey (1883 - 1964), dau. of Hanna Jennie Bixby (1863 -
1956) & Herbert Clinch Hughey (1857 - 1923), son of Daniel Hughey
(1826 - 1891) & Eleanor Campbell (1830 - 1904), dau. of Ann Clinch &
Joseph Campbell, who are familiar to subscribers of this mail list.
Irma preferred the name Taylor for her maiden name in honor of the
step-father that raised her, William Taylor. Irma and her husband, the
late Hilding Anderson, had no children. Many of you have met her
nephew, Roger Hughey.
I also wanted to bring to your attention the recent death of Cousin
Donald E.Whitney, b. 12/3/1926, d. 12/31/2007. He was a son of E.
Lorraine Moore (1901 - 1998) & Dallas Andrew Whitney (1903 - 1968), son
of John E. Whitney (1870 - 1937) and Dollie Faye Owlett (1885 - 1960),
dau. of Andrew Owlett (1850 - 1924) & Anna Marie Bosard (1860 - 1934),
dau. of Malchia D. Bosard (1833 - 1864) & Eleanor Campbell (1828 -
1910), dau. of Ann Clinch and Joseph Campbell.
Some were also curious about the ancestry of Carolyn Joyce HUYETT Shutt
(2/26/1934 - 12/22/2007). She was the dau. of Mary Jane Rudolph (? - ?)
& Rev. Paul Harlan Huyett (1907 - 1991) who later married Cousin Thelma
Ellison, dau. of Virginia Estella Protzman (1889 - 1944) & Hugh Campbell
Ellison (1888 - 1960), son of William Arthur Ellison (1853 - 1925 ) &
Jessie Ann Campbell (1861 - 1900), dau. of Helen Elizabeth Peasly (1826
- 1876) & William Campbell (1822 - 1875), son of Ann Clinch & Joseph
Campbell.
Condolences to the families of the 3 above deceased.
Some of you will be interested to hear that I've been corresponding with
John Catron, a great-great grandson of Mary Jane Carl and Samuel Eugene
Stewart, who was a grandson of Rchard Ellison & Jane Hazlett, dau. of
Sally Campbell & Sam Hazlett. Jane HAZLETT Ellison Andrews was the
babe in arms Sally CAMPBELL Hazlett carried through the snow drifts on
the Campbell-Hazlett migration to Nelson when the horse pulling the
wagon died after leaving Lawrenceville in the winter of 1810-1811.
Thanks to out on-line family tree, a Blackwell found us. I recently
heard from Pam Culley, who is a great-great-great-great-granddaughter of
Eleanor Grantier (1800 - 1888) & Nathaniel Blackwell (1797 - 1882).
Nathaniel was a nephew of our Enoch Blackwell (abt 1764 - 1816).
See you at our reunion on AUGUST 9..
