I recently heard from a daughter of Geo. Robt. Wilson, son of Lewis N.
Wilson (1880 - 1915) & Helen Campbell Shipman (1882 - 1956), dau. of
Geo. Hackstaff Shipman (1839 - 1922) & Mary Lois Campbell (1851 - 1927),
aau. of Helen Elizabeth Peasly/Peasley (1826/1876) & Wm. Campbell (1822
- 1875), son of Ann Clinch & Joseph Campbell.
It's great the way the number of "found" cousins keeps increasing.
I also received an inquiry from a professor of music who is researching
the impact of Cousin Charles Harris Congdon (1856 - 1928) on music
education.. As many of you know, we have had many distinguished music
educators in the family. He was a son of Benjamin Docray Congdon (1820 -
1897) and Sarah "Sally" Campbell (1824 - 1902), dau. of Ann Clinch and
Joseph Campbell.
Cousin Lois CHURCH Hassoldt alerted me to previous deaths of some more
cousins that we hadn't noted. Doris Hendrick died Jan 2004, wife of Wm.
Frederick Stevens. William's sister, Miriam Jean STEVENS Mosher, d. Jan
2003. Their brother, Robt. L. Stevens, died Jan 2004. They were
children of James Stevens and Ruby Louise Church (1902 - 1952),
dau.ofWalsteen Aaron "Fred" Church (1861 - 1915) and Ida Ann Cook (1880
- 1970), dau. of Mary Jane "Jennie" Swan (1850 - 1930) & Burton Cook
(1846 - 1917) , son of James Cook (1804 - 1893) & Rachel Hazlett (1812 -
1893), dau. of Jane Campbell & John Hazlett.
