Thanks to Cousin Kristen MOULDS Havis we now have 71 more names of
Sally-Sam descendants, plus nanes of the parents of some spouses and
some good pictures.
All are desc. of Jennie ELLIISON (1862 - 1909) and Chas. Henry RICE.
Those of you who have seen the annals of the Beecher's Island
Presbyterian Church already have Jennie and Charles names. For those
who aren't familiar with Jennie, she was a dau. of James ELLISON (1835 -
1924) and Cynthia Jane DUELL (1837 - 1901).
James was a son of Jane HAZLETT, b. 1808-1810, d. 1901-1902, and 1st
husband Richard ELLISON (1800 - 1842).
Jane was a dau. of Sarah "Sally" CAMPBELL and Sam HAZLETT.
Lots of new surnames below. There are also some THOMPSONs - which
undoubtably enriches the family gene pool. Also some West coast ADAMS -
so Marylyn will now have to share that spotlight.
Jennie ELLISON and Charles Henry Rice were married 1883 in Marengo, IL.
She was born in Tioga Co., but I don't know about Charles. His parents
were Samuel Leonard Rice and Charlotte Tracy. Do any of our RICE
researchers know where Charles was born and if he connects to any of our
RICEs? Kristen has his lineage back to Edmund Rice, who came to America
in the 1600s and settled in MA.
Jennie and Charles had two children: Irma RICE and Theo Charlotte RICE.
Irma (1884 - 1939) m. Geo. Beach. I'm expecting more data on Irma's
descendants. She had at least 3 children.
Here's a summary of the data for Theo and her desc. Dates are ommitted
for those known or assumed to be living.

That was as much detail as I felt comfortable puttng in a message that
will be stored in RootsWeb's archives and accessible via the Internet.
Genealogy addicts (like me) always want more details. If you aren't
cured by attending the next meeting of Genealogists Anonymous, write me
off list for more details.
Prints of pictures include:
Cynthia DUELL Ellison and her grandchildren (not all identified)
Jennie ELLISON and Chas. H. Rice as middle-aged or seniors
Jennie ELLISON Rice as bride
Jennie ELLISON Rice - 30 something?
Theo RICE Moulds as a girl

Appologies to those who sent me other great "goody packages" to me in
the past that may have not gotten as much recognition. They may have
arrived at more hectic moments and have gotten as much recognition as
they deserved. If that was the case -- deeo apologies. Now that I have
semi-retired and not working as many hours, things are usually less
hectic. Many of you have generously shared the fruits of years of labor
and helped build our "central repository" of family data. Thanks to all
of you who have shared data.
That brought to mind an incident from my computer consultant days. A
prospective client contacted me and requested my assistance building a
"data suppository". That certainly brings to mind a creative approach
to learning, but was outside my area of expertise.
